At The Turning Point, we believe in the power of community, growth, and healing. That's why we're excited to introduce our Rise Together: Strengthening Community Through Growth Spring 2024 programs. These survivor-centered events are open to all survivors in our community, regardless of whether you've been a Turning Point client.

Envision Your Future:

Vision Board Workshop

Saturday, February 10, 1:00 pm-2:30 pm

Explore your dreams and aspirations through the creative process of vision board-making. Join us in a supportive community as we visually manifest our hopes for the future together.


Strength in Unity: Community Collage*

Tuesday, February 27, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm


Unite with fellow survivors in a collaborative collage event, symbolizing our collective strength. As we piece together our stories, we strengthen the bonds that empower us as a community.


*These collages will be displayed as part of our art exhibit at the 2nd Annual Our Community Supports Survivors event on April 6.


Paws for Healing:

Therapy Dogs of Connect to Thrive

Thursday, March 7, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm


Experience the therapeutic companionship of dogs in a heartwarming session of comfort and connection. Join us to share joy and support in the company of these wonderful therapy animals. Register here.


Sculpting Strength: From Clay to Courage

Tuesday, March 19, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm

Channel your strength into artistic expression as we mold and shape with air-dried clay. Join the community in this tactile experience, where we create symbols of resilience and solidarity.


Our Community Supports Survivors: Blossoming Beyond

Saturday, April 6, 11:00 am- 2:00 pm

Invite your friends and family and join us for this community event celebrating the resilience of survivors. This outdoor event will feature performances, an art exhibit, activities, food, prizes, and more.

Ink Your Journey

Tuesday, April 30, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm


Discover the power of organization and self-expression in a bullet journaling session. Connect with others as we share tips and insights, fostering a sense of community in our individual journeys.
